As an accomplished professional actress, singer, and comedienne in New York City and Los Angeles for over 20 years, it was while performing on General Hospital, in Los Angeles that executives, CEOs, and their teams began asking Sandra to share her performance expertise in voice, improvisation, and acting techniques. This quickly led to the creation of Voice Power Studio—for teaching others about voice, improvisation, performance, and creativity. Since 1986, Sandra has helped many executives achieve their communication objectives in the area of sales, negotiations, interviewing, conducting meetings, tele- and videoconferencing, giving business presentations, and reporting to their boards of directors and stock holders.

Sandra has also supported the academic community as an adjunct faculty member at the University of New Mexico and the Santa Fe Community College. She wholeheartedly supports Toastmasters International and has spoken on Voice Power at many local, regional, and international Toastmasters events. 

She is a member of the Voice and Speech Trainers Association, Inc., The Screen Actors Guild/ American Federation of Radio and Television Artists, and Actors Equity.

Her clients include Genentech, Nestle, Google, Facebook, Northrop Grumman, Intel, Microsoft, EDS, the U.S. Coast Guard, the British Petroleum Group, Ernst and Young, Asia, and many executives in various government and banking institutions, radio personnel and universities.  

Sandra received a BA from Pennsylvania State University, and her training in voice, diction, and communication is from the Juilliard School in New York City. She studied acting with the renowned Lee Strasberg, as well as with Uta Hagen and Jose Quintero, and singing with Richard Fredericks of the NYC Opera. She has performed in film, TV, theater, and network and cable TV programs, many of which have enjoyed international syndication, including The Young and the Restless, Lou Grant, The Bold and the Beautiful, Divorce Court, and as the principal role of Nora Phillips on General Hospital. She has shot more than 250 commercials, received a CLIO award, and her voice has been heard in many voiceovers.  

Her career began as a professional dancer in San Francisco nightclubs, modern dance troupes, and musical comedies. She has performed and taught comedy improvisation in Chicago, Dallas, and Santa Fe, New Mexico and was a U.S. representative for the International Theater Institute in a tour of European performance venues.  

Currently Sandra performs her one-woman show The Magical Energy of Happiness, which has been heard in many women’s conferences, and cabaret rooms, most recently at the Society Cabaret in San Francisco. The Magical Energy of Happiness will be going digital next year.
